DEMOCRATIC OVERSIGHT

Institutional Governance & Administrative Integrity

A non-profit governance model built upon volunteer integrity, annual public auditing, democratic member elections, and complete financial transparency.

STATUTORY PRINCIPLES

Democratic, Volunteer-Led Leadership

Football Club des Bords de l'Ain operates under the strict guidelines of French non-profit legislation (Association Loi 1901), ensuring that authority is vested democratically in its members rather than private owners or commercial stakeholders.

Every year, our association convenes an open Annual General Assembly where all registered members—including adult players, parents of youth players, and civic volunteers—exercise direct voting rights. The General Assembly reviews and approves the annual financial accounts, audits operating expenditures, evaluates sporting and educational outcomes, and elects the members of the Board of Directors.

Every member of the Board serves on a completely unpaid, voluntary basis. Board members receive no remuneration, honoraria, or dividends. Their commitment is rooted solely in a shared desire to enrich the lives of young people and foster community health across Poncin, Neuville-sur-Ain, Pont-d'Ain, and Cerdon.

All membership fees and dues are fully reinvested in the association's public interest missions.
