COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

Field Action & Civic Sporting Initiatives

Direct, accessible sporting initiatives serving over 340 participants across Pont-d'Ain, Poncin, Neuville-sur-Ain, and Cerdon.

OPERATIONAL SCOPE

Structured Athletics for Every Generation

At Football Club des Bords de l'Ain, our field operations are organized to provide structured, safe, and joyful athletic engagement throughout the academic year.

We operate directly out of municipal facilities generously provided by our partner communes, with primary activities centered at Stade du Blanchon in Pont-d'Ain. By coordinating training schedules to fit working families and rural bus routes, we ensure that children and adults from Poncin, Neuville-sur-Ain, Pont-d'Ain, and Cerdon can participate regularly without undue logistical burden.

Every initiative is supervised by accredited volunteer coaches who hold official regional coaching certifications and first-aid qualifications, guaranteeing a nurturing environment where physical health and ethical citizenship flourish side by side.

All membership fees and dues are fully reinvested in the association's public interest missions.

1. Youth Grassroots Football Academy (U7 to U15)

The cornerstone of our association, the Youth Academy provides developmental training for children across our four rural communes. Split into pedagogical age bands (U7, U9, U11, U13, and U15), the curriculum focuses on fundamental motor skill mastery, bilateral coordination, spatial awareness, and game appreciation. Matches are organized on small-sided pitches (4v4 and 8v8) to maximize ball touches and joyful engagement. Certified volunteer educators ensure that winning is never prioritized over emotional growth, teamwork, and unconditional sportsmanship.

2. Intercommunal Civic League & Adult Health Recreation

Designed for working adults, parents, and rural residents seeking regular cardiovascular exercise without the intense pressure of professionalized leagues. The Adult Recreation Division features structured weekly training fixtures and friendly weekend matches against neighboring village clubs. This initiative serves as an essential mental health release, helping participants alleviate workday stress, build durable cardiovascular resilience, and establish strong bonds with fellow residents across Poncin, Neuville-sur-Ain, Pont-d'Ain, and Cerdon.

3. Subsidized Holiday Multi-Sport & Civic Discovery Camps

During the autumn, spring, and summer school holidays, our club hosts week-long day camps that provide essential relief for working parents. Children participate in daily football clinics alongside complementary activities such as outdoor athletics, cooperative obstacle courses, orienteering in the Revermont foothills, and civic workshops on sports nutrition and basic first aid. Heavily subsidized through municipal partnerships, our camps are open to all local children with zero economic exclusion.

4. River Ain Ecological Stewardship & Clean Pitch Days

Reflecting our commitment to civic responsibility, our association integrates environmental protection directly into club culture. Because our sports facilities border the pristine banks of the Ain River, our players, families, and volunteer stewards participate in regular riverbank litter cleanups, eco-friendly pitch maintenance, and water conservation workshops. We teach our young athletes that taking pride in our club means taking care of the shared natural ecosystem that sustains our villages.
